Ej and I got into Brussles late on Wednesday night and took a taxi to our hostel. Our taxi driver wore a full suit--how classy!!
Unfortunately, we only had the day in Brussels, so we had to check out of our hostel on Thursday morning and carry our packs again for the day.
We walked into the town. Burssels was notically less touristic than London and Isle of Wight. People kind of looked at us like we were crazy.
We found a square that was beautiful! Each side of it was a different building that was extremely detailed and gothic style.
Here is a picture of me and all I own in one of the gothic style buildings in Burussels.
Oh yeah, and we saw the peeing boy which Burssels is so proud of-- they make postcards, chocolate figures, and lace napkins out of him. Turns out hes tiny....

Oh Mackenzie it looks like you are having such a great time! The pictures look great...the castles especially...love 'em! Haha and the picture of you with the mussels is priceless! Guess what...I gave blood today for the first time ever...they had to stop in the midst of it cause I passed out! How embarrassing! Anyways keep having fun! I miss your sleep talking...my new roomie doesn't say nearly as many interesting things when she talks in her sleep hehe! I'm sure you are keeping EJ entertained with it though! hah! Your blogging is great! Love and miss you!
Haha you found the peeing boy! Nice. I forget what they call him- he has a special name. And you made it to the the Grand Square too- so beautiful! Hope you got to eat some Belgian waffles and chocolate. I wasn't brave enough to try the mussels, that's for sure!!
